Thanks to Susan Boyd, Judith Filipich, Ellie Klebonis, Doreen Mcleod, Cee Peterson, Woodrow Peterson, Lorraine Sutherland & Peter Sutherland for working very hard in the landscape at the Audubon House on Saturday, 6-13-2015. Look at the mound of heaped weeds cleared for planting of Fakahatchee grass (Tripsacum dactyloides) behind which Judith is working.

Doreen is smiling since the wild plumbago (Plumbago zeylanica) that was sprawling into the parking lot has been replaced by gorgeous coonties (Zamia floridana) donated by landscape architect Robin Pelensky.

Bob Bruce worked on improving the temporary soaker hose irrigation system.

Woodrow Peterson wields his shovel below. We were all soaked by the end of the morning but not from irrigation.

We wished that we could pant like Pepper, who kept watch on us all.
