The Pelican Island Audubon Summer Adventure Camp spent time kayaking around the Indian River Lagoon visiting some of the spoil islands. While they were thrilled by the natural wonders of it all, they were not so thrilled by all the trash thoughtless people left behind. To help the environment the campers have been picking up the trash from the islands in the ongoing effort to help the Indian River Lagoon every way possible.
