Free Nature Walks
Second & Fourth Saturday at 9am
Free, guided nature walks at the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area will begin on Saturday, November 12, and will continue on the second and fourth Saturday of each month through April (except for Christmas eve day). Volunteer guide Ken Gonyo will lead you on a 1 1/2 mile walk through shady, lush hammock, sandy pine flatwoods to a fifteen-foot Observation Area overlooking coastal wetlands. The walk will last about 2 hours.
Meet up in the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area parking lot at 9am . Please be prepared to walk on rustic & uneven trails. Walking shoes, long sleeves & long pants are recommended. You also may want to bring water & sun/mosquito protection.
Please note: No bathroom facilities are available at the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area.
